Golf Trips

This forum gives us all a great opportunity to find some nice courses around the area, and the spread the joy that is us around. We need to plan some trips and get out there and slap it around. I'm already itching to plan a trip to Bethpage and maybe play a course or two on the way. Let me know what everyone thinks. Until then Hack Away.

  1. yeah, we really need to be at the open this year. Wait, are you saying that we should make a trip to PLAY Bethpage or that we should go watch the open there? My vote is for bost. Either way, I'm sure Will will (lol, neat) accommodate us in his jersey mansion. I'll bet that he would even come with us. I am on it. Further, we need to hit exchange days hard this year. Randall and Rudy can watch the shops. We have the seniority and it's time we start throwing our clout around! I think I went to 1 exchange day last season. I'd really like to play Tom's Run and Iron Masters. Maybe romeo can get us on at Oakmont. But we should get in with the cool guys who go to the exchange courses. I remember playing with Gep, Fritz and Chuck on my single trip. While most of my foursome was cool, It would be extra cool to go with some killer dudes, ya dig? I wonder why the Rez plays with the guys he does. He cant be 35 yet.

  2. Exchange days are a legit option we need to take advantage of. Seeing as how i got jewed out of Birdsfoot last year due to a schedule maker that is no longer with us, i'm hurting to get a squirting at some nice courses. As PT said, we can leave the shop to the seasoned vets and let Goodman and Johnny Kane handle the grunt work. Another thing we should look into, and you guys may already now this, are there any other tour spots in the tri state area? I know the WGC makes a stop in Ohio, i think it would be sweet to see some pros at an event not as congested as bethpage. We should also talk to chuck about building us a private jet to go to all these places. just a thought.

  3. I know that they play at Firestone which is in toledo maybe. As far as transportation I'm sure that chuck could assemble something that defies the boundaries of space and time and probably moves at ludicrous speed. I don't think I played one exchange day last year except for the lovely round that william set up for us in that god-forsaken happy valley. As far as Kinger and his playing partners, what a pleasure it must have been to play with Fritz and Chuck, they both deserve a shout-out. God only knows what the Rez is doing playing with the middle agers, I think that if the Rez played with us both parties could learn a thing or two.
